"You Rock/You're a Gem!" Valentine's Cards (with free printable)

My kids are at the age where they love polished rocks. Whenever we go to a national/state park gift shop, they head to the bin of overpriced polished rocks and beg to purchase a little bag full of them! When I saw these cute heart rocks, I immediately thought to give them out for my daughter's class Valentines.

It's really easy to put together! Here's what you need:

1. 8.5x11 white cardstock

2. Heart Rocks (These are .8 inch size which work well with the printable. You can also find different quantities on amazon if you don't need this many)

3. Glue Dots (You can also get these at Joann Fabrics or Michaels and use their 40% off coupon if you have one locally)

4. You Rock/You're a Gem Free Printable

5. Scissors or paper cutter

Download the free printable and cut the cards apart. Have your child write names in the to/from section. Use glue dots to adhere the heart rocks into the middle of the agate slice printed on the card (helpful tip: don't try to remove the glue dot from the sheet with your fingers. Instead, place the heart rock directly on the glue dot, and the glue dot will stick to the rock as you remove them both from the sheet. then place the dot/rock on the card to adhere it).
